Meet the Doctor


Dr. Lyndsay C. Kuzmak

Dr. Lyndsay grew up in Carroll County, having attended North Carroll High School.  She graduated summa cum laude from McDaniel College in 2004, with degrees in both Biology and Sociology. During her time at McDaniel College, she was awarded the Isabel Isanogle Royer Scholarship for Biology, Gordon B. Shelton '68 Award for Excellence in the Life Sciences, and was named a Phenomenal Woman. She was selected for membership in the Alpha Lambda Delta First-Year Honor Society, Gamma Sigma Epsilon National Honor Society for Chemistry, and Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society. Dr. Lyndsay served as President of the Tri-Beta National Biological Honor Society and, upon graduation, was awarded the H.P. Sturdivant Award for Excellence in Biology.

Her interest in arts and sciences as well as her desire to help people led her to the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, from which she graduated magna cum laude in 2008. While in dental school, she was selected for membership in the Gorgas Odontological Honor Society, Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society, and the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society. Upon graduation, she was the recipient of the American Association of Public Health Dentistry Award as well as the Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Lyndsay then went on to complete a 1-year residency in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the University of Maryland.

She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Maryland Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, and Carroll County Dental Society. Dr. Lyndsay is a past president of the Carroll County Dental Society and has served on the Maryland State Dental Association's Board of Trustees as Carroll County Dental Society's Trustee.  She is currently the Vice President of the Maryland State Dental Association.

Dr. Lyndsay has attained Fellowship (2016) and Mastership (2022)  in the Academy of General Dentistry and has published in the fields of dental anxiety, oral pathology, and restorative dentistry.  She was also recently inducted into the International College of Dentists.

She gives back to her community by participating with both Mission of Mercy and Donated Dental Services. Dr. Lyndsay also visits elementary schools each February for National Children' Dental Health Month to educate kindergarteners and first graders about the importance of oral health.

Dr. Lyndsay resides in Carroll County with her husband, Steve, also a dentist, and her 4 children.
